POETRYcopyright 1999 Tears Are The Rain When there are so many, we shall have to mourn When grief has been made so public Exposed to the critique, the anguish in which we seek Now for whom shall we speak For everyday they die among us those who were doing some good Summon the Jackal, summon the Lizard, summon the breath of the wind, summon the breath of the wind Improve a little by living, that which is never enough Because in limbo plays a violin and my shadow dances behind me Afraid of the emotions that bind me Summon the Jackal, summon the Lizard, summon the breath of the wind, summon the breath of the wind Escape me once again As I sow the thoughts that torment my soul I play the game of change, my life I rearrange Rewriting the moment, I toss and turn with the strength to hold back the tears Wake me up tomorrow or is tomorrow just to near Summon the Jackal, summon the Lizard summon the breath of the wind, summon the breath of the wind Give me one day in paradise, let me shed my fears Let me find a new place to hide I’ll water my garden with tears I’ll wade in the sorrow, that sounded the pain Let it rain, let it rain Summon the Jackal, summon the Lizard Summon the breath of the wind, summon the breath of the wind
